The Triumph 400 engine feels bigger than its capacity suggests. It's tuned to pull cleanly from low revs, make relaxed road riding enjoyable, and avoid constantly changing gears.
It has a pleasing thump and a broad spread of torque, making it forgiving for newer riders and satisfying on everyday roads.
