TSS Motorcycles Victoria Motorcycle Club championship wrapped up at Manfield in May. Record entrants, meant capacity grids of close to 40 riders so both classes had an action packed 3 round series between March and May 2026. TSS supported riders experienced action-packed highs and lows.
Nixon Frost aboard his Suzuki GSX8-R enjoyed significant success winning the first two rounds of the Intermediate Trophy class. The final round, end of May he hit the track, with two falls, ending his winning streak but with enough points to win the series.
Keiran Mair was sidelined on his KTM RC8 C back in Race 1 due to a mechanical failure, knocking his healthy lead in the Formula 2 class. In round 2 a significant hand injury from a heavy high-side in testing effectively ended his season.
Madix Hill competed strongly on the TSS RC390 in his debut race season in the Junior Trophy class. He was setting personal best lap times all series and consistently battling for podium positions Billy Macrae made the trip from New Plymouth to contest the Supersport 150 class, Round Two of the series. Off the back of his NZSBK Championship 3
placing, Billy recorded three race wins and a new lap record at Manfeild
Special mention goes to Gavin Brindle from Auckland who placed fourth overall in the prestigious Formula 1, Senior Trophy field riding a 31 year old GSX-R750 SRAD. Competing against modern 1000cc Superbikes, Gavin dropped his lap times by several seconds a lap throughout the series and recorded consistent results.
The “Leaky Spoon” team all enjoyed their competition and brought fun and action to the field, many of the team smashed personal best lap times, becoming increasingly competitive each round.
